I’m doing some spring cleaning of the blog, along with Clement. So, things may change here and there, as a few pages (right at the top) are missing. THEY ARE NOT MISSING. I just grouped them together. =D

AFA 09 Day 2

!!DAY 2 OF AFA09!!

I arrived at around 9.30AM during day 2 (i got no idea why)

To keep this post short, i’ll just talk about stuff that are more LOL & Important.

KANAME PANEL-

During KANAME panel, i can seriously see the amount of fangirls going crazy. I learned a lot of useful stuff during this session. Like the one doing eyebrows. I was thinking of how to do my eyebrow for EOY.

AFREKO/KARAOKE

OK THIS IS SERIOUSLY LOL. AFREKO machine is lol and totally very good marketing idea. BUT THE KARAOKE OMG. When the MC said, lets ask the one with purple hair to come up to stage to sing for us. The word [purple hair] struck me. There wasn’t a lot of purple hair people during the event, except downstairs where most cosplayers are at. So i was like.. dun tell me it’s UME! I turned my hair and went LOLOLOLOLOLOL cause it really was Ume. She sang Seikan Hikou for this. And it’s pretty fun to watch at! LOL UME’s FIRST STAGE DEBUT. THOSE WHO WANT TO JOIN HER FANCLUB CAN GO OVER TO FACEBOOK TO LOOK FOR IT (LOL) or you wanna join her cure cosplay FC, go look for it LOL. I’m membah No.00 for her cure FC – LOL –

OK THE REAL DEAL (ONE OF)

I LOVED THIS PART OF THE WHOLE DAY (besides anisong). THE K-ON SEIYUUS!!!! THEY ARE SO CUTE LOLOLOLOL AND VERY YOUNG. FUFUFU they have a quite of an onee-sama look, especially Kotobuki Minako!(mugi-chan’s seiyuu). Azusa’s seiyuu Taketatsu Ayana voice is pretty the same as azusa’s voice (maybe that’s her natural voice?) Everyone was there except Mio-chan’s seiyuu (Hikasa Yoko). Maybe because of some curcumstances but MAAAAAA, AT LEAST WE HAVE 4 OUT OF 5 SEIYUU THERE. GOOD ENOUGH LOL.
THE LIVE DUBBING IS SUGOI. CAN REALLY SEE HOW THEY ACTUALLY VOICE AN ANIME. Apparently Yui-chan’s seiyuu (toyosaki aki) has features similar to Hirasawa Yui(literally the character that she voiced). the Fuwafuwa type lol.

BUSHIROAD!!

OK THIS SESSION IS A TOTAL BRAINWASH FOR ME. IT MADE THE UNDECISIVE ME TO CHOOSE TO PLAY WS (which i used to hesitate because there’s Persona4). The dubbing of the Weib Schwarz anime series, Weiss Survive is very very very lol. Which Michi actually stomps on the male character(LOL) is dam lol. The seiyuu went “ahughaheu” and the facial expression is VERY LOL. During the Q&A session it’s pretty lol again. The president said that the male seiyuu is a M, which michi’s seiyuu is S. WHICH IS TOTALLY LOL.

After this, i was walking around the AFA09 whole place. I ALWAYS END UP WALKING TO THE BUSHIROAD BOOTH (THIS IS BAD. THIS IS A SIGN THAT THE BRAINWASH WAS A SUCCESS).

I tried the ice-cream yougurt.. pomegranate flavour(PLEASE DO NOT EAT THIS) IT’S HORRIBLE. But after a while, you’ll just get used to the taste.

ok this part is just insane. I WENT MAD DURING THE CONCERT LOL. IF YOU WERE THERE. YOU WOULD ENJOY IT.

URGENT MEETING

Okay guys,

Sorry to say that my schedule has been changed in a way that it’s gonna be busy for me,

So i suggest that we have a short meeting this Wednesday evening (25/11) at the Library (One of those reading rooms beside the IT helpdesk.) at 6pm.

Will be rushing down from my camp as i’m having a short nights out.

I want to see your progress of the preparations of the booth for the EOY this December.

It’s quite an important issue, so please do set some time aside for this meeting.

I’ll see you guys there.

AFA 09 Day 1

Hey guys! AFA09 Day 1 JUST ENDED! How do you all think of it?

For me, AFA09 is just.. WIN! from the cosplay competition, the concert (day1), the cosplayers, the booths, dannychoo/storm trooper dance, and EVERYTHING ELSE!! including the make-up session =D

Summer Wars
First thing is Summer Wars preview and talk session.
This preview and talk session is pretty interesting as it’s directed by the same guy who did Toki wa kakeru shoujo, and other series (which i suddenly cannot rmb, i’m typing this at 8am in the morning -.-) They showed a small video of Summer Wars. And i was already, STUNNED,SHOCKED, everything that u can think of that makes u go UWAAAHH!!! SUGOI!! Summer Wars is very complex because of the fact that the whole village is connected to one another, knowing each other, making it somewhat of a giant family.
During the Q&A, they were talking something only family size in Singapore. I actually find the family size thing small, compared to the one in Summer Wars, where everyone in the village is connected to one another by their bonds. Finding it small, i actually did the action of small, and apparently he saw my hand movement!(i think lol) The whole thing is just awesome totally.
To think that Summer Wars took 3 years to complete, it must be one good movie that CANNOT BE MISSED.
It would be showing in local cinemas at 2* February 2010!! SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! BE FREE ON THAT DAY. AND LETS GO WATCH SUMMER WARS TOGETHER!!!!

Atsuki GL Fashion Show.
The next session is Atsuki GL Fashion show!
When i saw the fashion show, i thought it’s human models, dressing up in their very nice clothings and stuff like that. But it ends up being the dolls being dressed up.(my miss here). Camera flashes flew like mad during this time. But apparently during one of the models coming up, i saw camera flashes, FLASHING LIKE MAD AND I MEAN MAD. It’s fiercer then the other models. (lol) The dolls are nice, but the song accompanied is kinda eerie, well it’s GL i can’t blame it lol.

Regional Cosplay Championships.
KITA! REGIONAL COSPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! KANAME!!! KANAME KANAME KANAME! LOL. He looks very nice in camera, but looks slightly older than he looks upfront.
IT IS TOTALLY AWESOME. The first team that came up was on Sakura taisen (sakura wars). Everything for it is just jaw dropping. It’s just too awesome liao -.- The costume, details, skit, EVERYTHING. It’s just.. OMG.

Another team that amazed me is, the Lineage 2 team. The armor is simply, IMBALLLLLL. The details of it is just imbal. It kind of reminds me of the western side of cosplay, where they focus mainly on the looks of the costume. VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY NICE LINEAGE2 COSPLAY. SERIOUSLY. If you missed it, you gotta look at some photoblogs that has this part. The skit is very well made, though 90% of the skits, the metal hitting sound(from the video/sound track) is never really done. well because of the fact that the cosplay weapons never actually hit. If it did hit, *insert heart pain moment* LOL you guys get what i mean right? ne~ =D

One team i went omg again is the witchblade team. Though witchblade is quite old already, i watched it only once, can’t remember the storyline (mehz) but i do roughly remember how the outfits look like. And to think that they actually made that tank thing in witchblade which was TOTALLY COOOL. Nice texturing on the foam tank!
Red witchblade(i can’t rmb the character name) came out and fought with the tank and the tank actually somewhat kaboom (in a sense). Then a blue witchblade user came out of it. AND TOTALLY SUGOI. WHEN SHE CAME OUT. SHE PICKED UP HER WEAPON. I WENT WTTFFFFFF THE WEAPON IS SIMPLY GIGANTIC AND NICE. TOTALLY NICE. Red witchblade’s whole outfit is totally awesome too. The effort in making the clothing can be seen in the costume.
WHEN IN THE MIDST OF FIGHTING, THEIR OUTFITS LIGHTED UP. THAT IS TOTALLLY WIN. Though it’s just LED lights, it did portray how the actual Anime looks like. Where the lining area gets lighted up. although having the entire strip to light up is nicer though. BUT SERIOUSLY THE EFFORT AND TIME AND SKILL CAN BE SEEN IN THEIR COSPLAY & SKIT. I would gladly vote for them!

Animax Cosplay Make-up!
This session of AFA is the most.. empty timing. there were a lot of free seats during this time lol. I actually listened to this part attentively. Well because of the fact that i need to learn how to put on make-up.

Danny Choo Special Appearance!
This session is particularly very LOL. Those who were there would know what i mean.

I LOVE ANISONG!!
OK SERIOUSLY I LOVE ANISONG SECTION IS JUST WICKED SICK. TOTALLY BEYOND AWESOME-NESS TILL THE FACT THAT I CAN’T EVEN EXPLAIN IT IN WORDS LOL
